Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all premium subscription plans purchased on CollegeYogi ("the Platform"). We want you to be satisfied with your purchase, and this policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are available.
2. Subscription Plans
CollegeYogi offers premium subscription plans that provide access to advanced features including unlimited college predictions, complete cutoff data, AI chat assistance, choice list builder, and more. Plans are available for specific durations as listed on our pricing page.
3. Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a full refund if:
- You request a refund within 7 days of the purchase date
- You have not extensively used the premium features (i.e., fewer than 5 premium predictions or downloads)
- There was a technical error resulting in a duplicate payment
- The Platform was unable to deliver the promised services due to a system-wide outage lasting more than 48 consecutive hours during your subscription period
4. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
- Requests made after 7 days from the date of purchase
- If you have extensively used premium features during the subscription period
- Dissatisfaction with prediction outcomes — predictions are based on historical data and statistical models and are not guaranteed
- Change of mind after purchasing a plan
- Failure to cancel before the subscription period ends (note: plans do not auto-renew)
- Violation of our Terms of Service leading to account suspension
5. Cancellation
Since CollegeYogi subscriptions do not auto-renew, there is no recurring billing to cancel. Your subscription remains active until the end of the purchased period and expires automatically.
If you wish to stop using the Platform entirely, you may delete your account through account settings. Account deletion does not automatically trigger a refund.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Email us at support@collegeyogi.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your registered email address, payment/transaction ID, and the reason for the refund
- Our support team will review your request and respond within 3 business days
You can also submit a refund request through our contact page by selecting "Technical Support" as the subject.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed as follows:
- Refunds are credited back to the original payment method used during purchase
- Processing time: 5–10 business days from the date of approval, depending on your bank or payment provider
- Once a refund is processed, premium access will be revoked immediately
8. Partial Refunds
In exceptional circumstances, we may offer a partial refund or credit at our discretion. This may apply when:
- A request is made between 7–14 days of purchase with minimal usage
- There was a significant service disruption affecting your experience
